Our Services

Let us fix your
smile

With over 25 years of service to the community, we welcome patients of all ages and ensure that every patient in our care receives the highest quality oral health services.

At your very first appointment with us, we will discuss your medical history and any dental concerns you may have. Following this, we will carefully examine your dental health which may include digital radiographs (x rays) and photographs. In consultation with you we will ensure you receive the dental care best suited to your overall health needs.

Dental Check Up

Dental check-ups play an important role in the maintenance of your oral health. A regular check-up after every 6-12 months is recommended for children and adults to ensure optimum oral and general health. Even if you don’t have a toothache, pain or any concerns, regular check-ups ensure any problems can be addressed promptly before they become more complex. Here at Trigger Dental we encourage visits from a young age and give instruction on brushing and flossing technique to ensure good dental health between appointments.

Bridges

A dental bridge is a prosthetic replacement of a missing tooth that is kept in place by taking the support of the adjacent teeth. A dental bridge is often recommended for patients with one or more missing teeth in a row. When a lost tooth is replaced with bridge, the teeth on either side of the missing one/s are prepared as crowns to serve as abutments or anchors to hold the prosthetic (replacement) tooth or teeth in place. Bridge once cemented becomes a permanent structure and cannot be removed.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment (RCT) is needed when the pulp of the tooth, which contains nerves and blood vessels, becomes infected and inflamed, this is known as pulp necrosis. A root canal treatment includes removing the infected pulp, cleaning and disinfecting the canal and sealing it with an impervious filling. Root Canal Treatment gives you the option of preserving the structure of the tooth.

Extractions

When a tooth is damaged your dentist will always aim to treat and save it by using various treatment options such as fillings, crown or root canal treatment. In some situations tooth is so badly damaged or decayed that it needs to be removed or extracted.

Porcelain Veneers & Crowns

Veneers are thin, tooth coloured shells usually made from porcelain or composite resin that are shaped to bond to the front of your natural teeth. Veneers are designed to enhance aesthetics as well as conceal dental flaws such as chipped, misaligned, damaged or stained teeth in order to improve the overall appearance of your smile

Restorations

Restorations or fillings are designed to restore your damaged teeth to their normal shape, aesthetics and function. Our dentist will ascertain the condition of the tooth and severity of the damage to decide the best option to restore your teeth.

Dentures

Denture teeth are custom made to fit your mouth so that they can appear as natural teeth. Dentures serve as an alternative solution for people who have lost their teeth from gum disease, tooth decay or injury. Dentures can replace your natural teeth and your smile. Replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health. Dentures help to restore the facial muscle tone which usually sags when teeth are lost. You will be able to eat and speak normally, things that people often take for granted until they have lost their natural teeth.

Implants

A dental implant acts as a replacement for the root of a missing tooth. Dental implants are screw like anchors that create a strong foundation for an artificial tooth (such as crown or bridge) to be placed. This artificial tooth is custom made to create a seamless and natural looking smile. Dental implants can last decades in the upper or lower jaws making them a perfect option for replacing one or more missing , damaged or diseased teeth as long as you have a fully grown and healthy jaw bone.

Teeth Whitening/Bleaching

Teeth whitening or tooth bleaching is a cosmetic procedure that is used to enhance the appearance and colour of your teeth. Before starting a whitening treatment, it is important for the dentist to examine your mouth to advise whether the whitening process is right for you.
There are two options of professional teeth whitening available at our practice;
• Custom-made take-home teeth whitening kits.
• In-chair teeth whitening treatments. At Trigger Dental, we use the “Phillips Zoom” technology to get the best form of teeth whitening.
